Summary: We have been lucky enough to travel to Hawaii every winter for almost 35 years. We prefer to rent rather than have a time share or second home, we have have second homes and it's not worth the aggravation. I understand property management is very challenging, but this place needs a new property manager in my opinion.First, you can't check in until 4pm, and check out is 10am, 6 hours for cleaning? This is the only place we have ever stayed at that doesn't provide at least the first mornings coffee. We had to leave and to to the store to get coffee after a long days travel already.We inspected the water dispenser on the refrigerator for cleanliness, but there was actual mold and it had apparently never been cleaned. The property manager said she would have the cleaner come and clean it, but that did not happen. She did provide a new water filter, which I installed, but the actual dispensing part was still gross. We had to ask her to provide some basic cooking utensils for our family. There was no whisk, no large frying pan, no bowls other than cereal bowls. She did get everything but the whisk, plus a griddle we didn't ask for and never used.The door handle on the front door was loose and about to come off, but I got a knife and tightened it up as best I could. She sent a repair guy to use a screwdriver to really tighten it up, but someone (the cleaner?) should have pointed this out before. Lanai door off living room doesn't lock, I told her but she didn't even respond.
