Summary: I had bookmarked this property long before I had time to plan a visit as I knew one day I was meant to stay there and I am so happy to have stayed there this summer. Such a beautiful place to visit in June! There are the most exquisite peony and rose bushes that surround the house and were in full bloom when we arrived and how magical that they framed every view through the windows to the water. Inside you step into a rich sense of detail that is preserved from another era. The home has so many spaces where each carry their own character of simplicity, beauty and function. TRULY MAGICAL! It was a wonderful two weeks of cooking, painting and just BEING in the intimacy of the home surrounded by the ocean and all its life. thank you
