Summary: We booked a room with a king bed, but upon check-in, we were assigned a room with two double beds without any prior communication. We only discovered the switch after entering the room. When we returned to the front desk to clarify, we were told the hotel had overbooked their king rooms and one wouldn't be available until the following day. It felt very dishonest that they didn't mention this at the desk; had I not gone back down to complain, they likely would have said nothing. Beyond the service issues, the property is dated. We found bugs and cockroaches in our room, and the noise from the construction site across the street made it difficult to relax. Overall, a very disappointing stay.
