Lodging@Laurelen is a delightful space to gather with a few friends or host a small family get-away! Our secluded property has so much to offer nature lovers... trails nearby, trees and birds galore, spacious backyard, fire pit area, basket ball court (shared space), and a pond. We invite you to enjoy part of our well loved home, 'Laurelen', that we have created in the lower level, just for you! Our family resides in the upstairs space and leaves you to your own privacy. We want you to feel as comfortable and 'at home' as we are, so please understand that you will hear little and big footsteps overhead as well as piano playing (beautiful or not!). You may also hear squeals of delight or other amusing sounds that come from precious little toddlers ;).
No worries about your noise though! Somehow that stays downstairs quite willingly...
Outside, roast marshmallows around the fire pit and soak in the serenity of the forest. We have a small charcoal grill for your use as well.
Enjoy Bocce or basketball in the great outdoors. A short walk through the woods will bring you to a quaint little pond with a floating dock.
The Nature Conservancy surrounds the property and provides beautiful, well kept trails to explore.
We are located just 20 minutes outside of historic Downtown C'ville and within minutes to numerous wineries.
