Summary: I have stayed in the Waikoloa Beach area for years, but first time at The Shores. I was very pleased with the unit which had obviously been updated and was nicely decorated. It was appointed with everything needed for a comfortable stay and then some. We enjoyed walking the beautiful grounds. Pool is lovely. The beds were comfortable, however the big pillows were very lumpy and difficult to sleep on. The carpet in the guest room could use a good cleaning, and we missed an indoor dining table. However, the lanai was more than adequate and we used it well. We would go back.
