This unique cabin is named for the Rumford Stone used to construct the 2-story wood burning fireplace and is the center piece of the Spacious living room with high vaulted ceilings. There are 3 bedrooms: Private bedroom #1 is downstairs with a king bed. Upstairs, Private Bedroom #2 has a double bed and Bedroom #3 is an open loft with 2 double beds to accommodate sleeping for up to 6. Scenic Cabin Rentals Provides bed linens, hand towels, dish towels and bath towels (One per guest).
The Full bathroom was recently renovated and features a new tile shower and Brand New Full sized Washer and Dryer! The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas range, two ovens!, microwave, toaster, Coffee Maker, and all of the standard kitchenware. The spacious living Room has sofa seating to watch the Smart TV, catch a game on Satellite TV or reading by the fireplace. There is a bumper pool table, and board games as well. Rumford comes with Central AC, gas heat, and Wi-Fi.
Outside is a 16 x 14 ft private deck overlooking the private parking lot area. There is a new 4-person Hot Tub and large gas grill and plenty of outdoor seating. Rumford also features a firepit for all to enjoy!
Rumford is part of the Quiet Waters Private Cabin Complex consisting of 5 cabins and is located within Natural Bridge State Park. The Cabins are inter-connected by walkways and decks creating a very cool and unique setting. Perfect for group gatherings, family reunions, or conferences if you don't mind seeing other people occasionally. Many activities within a couple miles of this location: hiking trails, Underground Kayak/Canoe, rock climbing, Via Ferrata, Daniel Boone Coffee Shop, Miguels Pizza, La Cabana Mexican Natural Bridge Skylift, mini golf and more.
Pet allowed, must be well trained and not permitted in beds or on furniture. Pet fee is $50.
Easy road access for 2wd vehicles. All roads paved and dead ends to a large paved parking area which can fit motorcycles or ATV trailers.
Special Note: Near the property, you will find a cemetery that is part of the Natural Bridge State Park. You are welcome to visit it, but we ask that you be respectful of the property.
